Explore how to integrate non-hormonal strategies into personalized menopause care, when they’re most effective, and how they can complement or serve as alternatives to hormone therapy.

Learning Objectives
1. Summarize the mechanisms of action and clinical evidence supporting emerging non-hormonal medications for vasomotor symptoms, sleep disturbance, mood dysregulation, and metabolic changes associated with menopause.
2. Identify evidence-based supplement protocols appropriate for patients who are candidates for non-hormonal management of menopausal symptoms.
3. Apply a case-based framework to select and sequence non-hormonal treatment options based on individual patient symptom profiles, comorbidities, and treatment history.
4. Implement practical strategies to optimize patient adherence, conduct appropriate safety monitoring, and track clinical outcomes when using non-hormonal therapies for menopausal symptom management. -

Earn 1 ANCC Continuing Education Contact Hour.
