FAQs

Continuing Education (CE) by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation (ANCC)

GENERAL

What is ANCC accreditation? What does it mean when a webinar is accredited?
ANCC stands for the American Nurses Credentialing Center, the leading authority in nursing credentialing. When a webinar or course carries ANCC accreditation, it means the content meets nationally recognized standards for quality continuing professional development, is evidence-based and free from commercial influence. RNs and APRNs can earn contact hours by participating in approved educational activities and completing the associated evaluation form (sent to all registrants after the event).

When did Midi Health become accredited by ANCC?
Integrative Women's Care, PC c/o Midi Health was accredited as a provider of nursing continuing professional development by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation in 2026. We are proud to be recognized for adherence to rigorous standards that advance professional practice.

Are all Midi Clinical Webinars ANCC-accredited?
No, only select clinical webinars are accredited. Participating in approved clinical webinars and completing the associated evaluation form allows you to earn ANCC contact hours, which are accepted for license renewal. HOURS AND ELIGIBILITY

Who is eligible to earn contact hours for attending ANCC-accredited Midi webinars?
RNs and APRNs

How many contact hours can I earn from this webinar?
Attendees who meet the completion requirements will earn 1 ANCC contact hour. This will be noted in your certificate of completion, which you can submit to your state board or use toward certification renewal requirements.

What do I need to do to receive my contact hour?
To receive your contact hour, you must attend at least 80% of the live event or view at least 80% of the recording. You must also complete an evaluation form after the session, which you will receive via email.

What if I can't attend the live session?
No problem — an on-demand recording will be made available after the live session. You can watch at your convenience  and still earn your contact hour, as long as you complete the required steps outlined above.

Will my state nursing board accept this contact hour?
ANCC contact hours are widely recognized and accepted by nursing boards in all 50 states, the District of Columbia, and U.S. territories. We recommend checking with your specific state board if you have any questions about your individual renewal requirements.
